Combining several decades of cryogenics experience with the engineering capabilities of GRE Ltd in fabrication, process engineering, control systems and system engineering is allowing both companies to embark on a growing number of exciting new applications in cryogenics and process cooling.

I am genuinely delighted to be able to write this testimonial for Charles Monroe of Monroe Brothers Ltd, as he has come to be an integral part of our ‘outsourced design team’ over the last 6 years in some of the most prestigious work we have undertaken, including RAL Space’s vacuum chamber thermal shroud system, Tokamak Energy’s LN2 fusion reactor cooling system and European XFEL’s twin blown helium cryostats. Not only has Charles been on hand to offer calculations, theories, and advice to assist our team of design engineers, but he takes real pleasure in and, frankly excels at, thinking about a problem and offering solutions, improvements and ideas that, more often than not, allow us to offer our clients a better product or service. Charles’ high regard for integrity and honesty in personal as well as business matters also make him easy and enjoyable to work with. All of these elements mean that we sincerely hope that GRE and Charles work together for many years to come. If you have a problem needing a bespoke solution or are considering someone to verify and advise on your own work, I would highly recommend contacting Monroe Bothers.
