Training

Monroe Brothers Ltd can deliver technical training for the design of cryogenic systems for temperatures down to 1.3 K.  The subjects covered include:

• Properties of cryogens;
• Quantifying and minimising the heat loads;
• The low temperature properties of materials;
• Cooling by bulk cryogens, helium liquefiers or cryocoolers;
• Cryogenic pipeline systems
• Aspects of superconducting magnet design including current leads, quenching and cooldown.
